Back when mutual fund management was still an honorable gig. Sir John Templeton was the first mutual fund manager to begin actively investing in Emerging Markets (Mark Mobius is his right hand man in this regard). Peter Lynch of Fidelity Magellan was the top performing mutual fund manager of the 20th century.
